HARDSHIP FUND
Join Us in Supporting the CEDC Hardship Fund
At Chloe Elizabeth Dance Community (CEDC), we believe that dance should be accessible to everyone — regardless of circumstance. Our brand-new Hardship Fund has been created as part of our ongoing commitment to breaking down barriers in dance, particularly those caused by financial restraints.
This fund will help ensure that every dancer — from our youngest learners to our most dedicated students — can continue to access the joy, confidence, and community that dance brings.

Chloe Elizabeth Dance Community CIC

Who are we?
At Chloe Elizabeth Dance Community, we believe that dance should be accessible to everyone — regardless of circumstance. As a not-for-profit organisation, we exist to remove financial barriers and open doors to dance education, performance, and creative pathways for those who may otherwise be excluded.
Our mission is grounded in two key pillars: Community Hardship and Talent Hardship. Through the Community Hardship Fund, we support individuals and families facing financial or social challenges, ensuring that dance remains a source of belonging, joy, and wellbeing. Through the Talent Hardship Fund, we empower gifted dancers with limited means to pursue their training and reach their full potential.
By nurturing both inclusion and excellence, Chloe Elizabeth Dance Community aims to build a vibrant, supportive network where everyone has the chance to move, grow, and shine.
WHY?
Chloe Elizabeth Dance Company was founded in 2015 with a clear vision: to keep dance inclusive and affordable. For the past ten years I have worked hard to maintain low-cost sessions, ensuring that families could access dance and be supported in every way possible.
As our dance club has grown, with our team expanding and ongoing costs increasing, it has become increasingly difficult to support those most in need through our existing structure. In response, I am establishing Chloe Elizabeth Dance Community CIC – a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting all elements of community dance that go beyond our day-to-day classes.
Our beneficiaries will include:
-
Children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
-
Families and individuals facing financial hardship.
-
Rural and underprivileged communities with limited access to arts.
-
Boys and young men who are often underrepresented in dance.
-
Older adults and individuals with health needs, such as Parkinson’s or mobility issues.
-
Young dancers with prospective talent seeking pathways into training, leadership, or professional careers.
We aim to work with businesses, local authorities, and funders to raise money that will expand opportunities for all members of our community. Our Hardship Fund will provide access for those who cannot afford dance classes, while also supporting training pathways such as scholarships, associate programmes, young leadership schemes, and professional dance teacher training.
Our vision is simple: Shropshire will be dancing. We aim to make dance in Shropshire as accessible, inclusive, and celebrated as the provisions offered in larger cities, ensuring that no one is left behind and that talent has the chance to shine.
