What we have done
Since CEDC was established in May 2003 we
have worked with a range of agencies to enable them to comply with
requirements set out in the BME Action Plan for Wales.
During 2003-2004 we undertook research
into the needs of BME communities in:
-
Neath Port Talbot
-
Bridgend

-
Vale of Glamorgan
-
Merthyr Tydfil
-
Newport
-
Powys
-
Caerphilly
-
Blaenau Gwent
-
Cardiff
In each of the research projects we
worked with the local race equality council, organisations representing BME
communities and local BME residents to establish the housing needs and
aspirations of BME communities.
During 2003 - 2004 we developed BME
Housing Strategies for:
-

-
